self-control.

Perfect Day, Saints!
I remember marvelling at a Reddit user who shared that she would wait for an appropriate time to talk to her partner about an issue between them, even though the issue was a major one.
I also saw a quote on someone's profile that said, "The best fighters are never angry." That is true in a lot of contexts.
Additionally, there is a Christian book where the author recalls telling his wife that she might be right about what she is saying, but she is "wrong at the top of her lungs."
I asked God how to do these things because I did not have the capacity to do them myself.
God told me it requires self-control, and the only way I can have it is to abide in God, in every sense of the word.
I am happy to say that, by abiding in God, I now have much more self-control than I did before.
Deliverance helps too.
Stay on course in Jesus' name, amen?
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. (Proverbs 29:11 KJV)
