Perfect Day, Saints!
In 2023, I asked God why I had become a lukewarm Christian.
The first thing He chose to highlight was my then church's heavy focus on wisdom, which unintentionally negated His active involvement in my life.
For example, while it is wise to read the testimonies of others to remind myself of the goodness of God and build faith, those testimonies should never replace spending quality time with Him, and allowing Him to remind me of His goodness and impart that faith personally.
In essence, wisdom cannot replace a personal relationship with God.
God said that I will not be saved by what the church teaches, but by a personal relationship with Him.
God also used Revelation 2:4 to explain to me that Jesus must be my first love, and that I must remain in a state of first love with Him forever.
Stay on course in Jesus' name, amen?
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. (Revelation 2:4 KJV)
