poetic justice.

Perfect Day, Saints!
When I came to know God for myself in 2023, I learned that He is the author of poetic justice.
God told me before that Master Oogway's famous speech about the past, present, and future is fundamentally wrong. I didn't press Him for more details.
This was confirmed recently when I heard Bondservant John Anosike say: "They've lied to you that this is present and then that the past is what happened yesterday. No, your now is the past. Your future is now. What you're doing now is a seed you're casting into your future. And what you're experiencing now is a harvest of what you did yesterday. So you are actually experiencing your past in the present."
And I received a direct lesson in this very truth yesterday.
I asked my husband to stop eating, go to the bedroom, and leave me alone in the dining room so I could do my morning rush uninterrupted for five minutes.
When I called out to him that I was done, he did not reply, meaning he had his headphones on.
Instead of making sure he heard me, I purposely did not bother to knock on the bedroom door and left the house. I was irritated.
I knew that this was wrong, but I dismissively thought, "Who's going to do something about it?"
Well, God did.
Later on at work, my usual alarm did not go off, so I unknowingly stayed around 20 minutes beyond my clock-out time. Because of this delay, I missed my usual transit and had to take a very expensive cab.
When I asked God why that happened, He simply said, "You will know." The realization hit me when I opened WhatsApp to tell my husband about the cab fare, only to see my very last message to him: "I called out to you but you were using headphones in your room when I left."
Lesson learnt.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail. (Proverbs 22:8 KJV)
