Perfect Day, Saints!
I remember my British Literature teacher at junior college who shared how he quit History at Oxford to study Literature instead, because he didn't like how he's taught to view history from difference lenses.
When I was under the grace doctrine, I felt the same. Because I wasn't given permission to interpret the Bible with an open mind, but see it through a certain lens.
This way of approaching the Bible sets up the stage for biases and the rejection of the truth, because anything that doesn't support that doctrine gets ignored or suppressed.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
