Perfect Day, Saints!
The spiritual leader of my old church said that his journey towards the grace doctrine began when, as a youth pastor, he preached that you have to love God with all your heart, strength, and mind—but realized he didn’t know how to do that.
This is why, today, if you ask congregants from my old church whether people should love God with all their heart, mind, and strength, and love their neighbour as themselves, they would say there is no need, because they are not under law but under grace.
This is exactly what I mean by the church teaching people to negate Jesus's own words.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
