false prophets.

Perfect Day, Saints!
The spiritual leader of my old church would rebut accusations of producing unholiness in people's lives by saying that we cannot expect sinners to become saints overnight.
As a trained sociologist, I would have to say: look at the data, not the mission statements.
God told me that the basis of this criticism is scriptural, because scripture tells us to identify wolves in sheep's clothing—who can simultaneously be false prophets—not just by the fruits of their personal lives, but their ministerial lives as well.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew 7:15-20 KJV)
