spirit of blasphemy.

Perfect Day, Saints!
The spiritual leader of my former church strictly maintains the doctrine that Christians cannot be demonised.
He holds this stance despite testifying that he believed he was demonised as a teenager and a Christian, and believed the deliverance session(s) he attended didn't amount to anything.
He would occasionally jest that some people still believe he is demonised today, prompting the congregation to laugh at the supposed absurdity.
Tragically, spiritual infants who still need to be fed the Word would laugh right along with him. Ironically, the primary entity he (himself) claimed to have manifested was the spirit of blasphemy.
Fast forward to a few months ago: I visited the church building to use the public restroom—a facility I rightfully contributed to through past tithes and offerings.
Walking through the quiet, mostly empty compound, I noticed a church server in uniform turn his head to grin at a colleague.
The expression on his face shocked me to the core. Curiously, he held onto that expression, completely frozen for the three to five seconds it took me to walk past the restaurant—not changing his face, speaking, or moving a muscle.
Under normal circumstances, I would have told him he needed deliverance, but I knew I would simply be laughed out the door.
I later described the look to a fellow believer as 'like Chucky,' though Chucky was defined by rage and violence, while this face was uniquely smug and intense.
I then asked God for a picture of the face on someone from the Internet to show people. God led me to watch an interview about Mel Gibson's latest film, and I saw again that identical expression on the demon baby from The Passion of the Christ.
Ultimately, it is anything but a holy countenance.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:39-44 KJV)
