Perfect Day, Saints!
Just yesterday, God led me to study the heart and led me to Apostle Dan Duval’s book, Awakened.
The book explains how the heart sits at the centre of the three parts of man—the body, spirit, and soul. It acts as the gate that keeps them all communicating together, allowing the heart to access each of them individually.
I haven't delved deeper into the heart yet, but I can now understand why the Bible treats the heart so importantly.
Another thing that intrigued me was the year I was born again, before I closed my Bible shut the same year, I remember being fascinated by how King David could speak to his own soul as if it were a separate entity. Apostle Dan Duval’s recent YouTube podcast with Prophet Tomi brought this up again, and I wanted to know how it was done.
Wouldn't it be amazing to bypass traditional counselling and not need someone else to tell you what's wrong? After all, the best counsellors make you do the work of processing everything yourself anyway.
I tried speaking to my spirit and wrote down a lengthy response. It contained things I already knew about my true self in bits and pieces, but it came out in articulate, full sentences.
I then asked my body what its problem was, because my body aches were returning. I quickly backtracked, remembering this is supposed to be an honouring process. Instead, I used the words recommended in the book for the spirit and asked my body, "What is the first thing you want to say to me?"
It replied, "I need meat every day, because I am malformed." I was shocked. When I spoke to God in the past, He had told me I needed to eat meat every day—something I had recently forgotten during my fast, which caused me to develop gastric flu. God had previously explained that this requirement was because I was born prematurely at seven months.
Next, I asked my soul the same question, and it said it was taking its cue from my spirit. When I asked my spirit what it wanted, it said it needed to be fed the Bible—which God had already revealed to me personally.
Finally, I asked all three parts whether I should keep my fast yesterday. All three said yes, saying that because the fast was commanded by God, they would endure.
Of course, the ultimate safety measure is to confirm everything with the Holy Spirit. And walk in the fear of God. Because anything spiritual can be deception without an intimate walk with God.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (Psalm 25:5 KJV)
Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. (Psalm 86:11 KJV)
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV)
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. (Ephesians 4:25 KJV)
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. (Psalm 51:6 KJV)
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefit. (Psalm 103:1-25 KJV)
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. (Psalm 42:5 KJV)
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. (Psalm 42:11 KJV)
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. (Psalm 43:5 KJV)
