lawlessness.

Hi, brothers and sisters!

In the midst of all the correction in 2023, I asked God a heavy question. I asked Him if I was on the path to Hell.

Gently, and completely matter-of-factly, He told me yes. He told me that if I had passed away on that very day, I would be going to Hell.

It is truly by His mercy and grace alone that I am here with a second chance.

But when He said that, it completely boggled my mind.

I had never considered myself a backslider. In fact, I was a regular church-going, doctrine-believing Christian. At the very worst, I could admit to being a bit lukewarm, but I was too afraid to really look at what that word meant.

Still blown away by His answer, I asked God to teach me from the Bible how that could even be possible.

That is when He revealed the parable of the 10 virgins to me. He pointed out that His Church is represented by the virgins, yet five of them are told to depart. And that the thing characterising all 5 is lawlessness.

He told me then that He was going to teach me deeper truths about this parable over the coming years—and He did.

Five virgins ran out of oil. This means that they were no longer being led by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Himself warned us that if you blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. When the Holy Spirit tries to convict you, please do not ignore Him. Don't be married to any specific doctrine—be married to the Holy Spirit instead.

He is the Spirit of Truth, and He will teach you all things.

Stay on course in Jesus' name. Amen?

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (1 Timothy 4:1 KJV)
