holy sanctuaries.

Perfect Day, Saints!
One country in the world has a policy of giving needles, crack pipes, and rooms to addicts so they can use drugs more safely, avoid overdose, and live long enough to eventually seek treatment.
Most believers, however, will not support this. They understand that even the act of supplying drug paraphernalia is a sin because it facilitates the commission of the sin. Without this assistance, it would be much harder for the individual to take drugs, and they would have to do so at their own risk.
This dynamic reminds me of the church I previously belonged to, which rented out its pulpit (stage) and sanctuary (auditorium) to drag queen concerts, K-pop concerts, and other secular concerts. When I was a member hearing opposition to this, I took the side of my church.
I agreed because, since 2017, I was addicted to RuPaul’s Drag Race. I had watched all 13 seasons of the main show, 13 seasons of its behind-the-scenes footage, and 2 seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race Thailand. Drag queens were my role models.
Furthermore, I agreed because my previous church argued that it was wise to generate money for the Lord using the building.
And, according to their doctrine, when righteousness touches unrighteousness, righteousness wins. Consequently, they believed the people participating in these concerts would be "sozoed" at the venue and turn to Jesus.
God told me at the time I left that church in 2023 that it was deeply wrong, and He needed me to repent of my agreement.
God showed me that during His time on Earth, Jesus Christ violently objected to the temple being used as a "den of thieves." Surely, the temple leaders back then had their own good reasons for allowing those activities in the first place.
God taught me more clearly this year that committing a sin in the name of something good is still a sin, and His standards never change.
Today, His additional words on this subject were for me to imagine the two temples—the church building and my own body—as one. What I have learned to accept in one temple mirrors what I have learned to accept in the other, and I must be incredibly careful.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV)
