Perfect Day, Saints!

Bondservant John Anosike emphasises "roaring." According to testimonies from others, things change, circumstantially, when there is roaring. And it appeared distinct from the tongues I had.

God told me that what I already have is the foundational base intended for all Christians. He told me to do my research, and upon understanding what roaring means, to begin asking Him for the gift.

Bondservant John Anosike referenced three distinct types of tongues: the tongues of man, the tongues of angels, and the tongue of the Lord.

The tongues of man or tongue of edification is the baseline, primary spiritual tongue. Its purpose is to build up the believer's spirit, cultivate internal faith, and develop spiritual capacity.

The tongues of angels or tongue of deployment is a weapon deployed to confront dark powers, clear spiritual airways, and establish authority when entering new locations or ministries.

This explanation correlated with my own experience. In 2019, in a new work environment where I knew no one, I attempted to improve the organization in three specific ways that's in alignment with the parent organisation. I took the correct steps, but all backfired spectacularly on me, which led me to resign.

Throughout that period, I was consistently praying in the tongues of man, yet the walls of Jericho did not fall down.

Recently, in 2026, I informed a sister in Christ that I was seeking the tongues of angels. Based on her own experience of requesting the gift of tongues, she advised me to ensure I had the correct heart posture to receive it.

Her assessment was correct. My initial motivation for seeking the tongues of angels was self-preservation. Following her advice, I adjusted my focus to desiring the angelic tongues for the purpose of the Church.

During this process, I had also questioned whether the "tongues of angels" was a scriptural concept. The scripture she provided answered the question. She quoted from 1 Corinthians 13:1: “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels…”

Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. (Joshua 5:13-6:5 KJV)
