Dear Saints,

I was recently under a spate of attacks that left me feeling completely blank about the things of God.

It felt as though I suddenly had a 'brand new' mindset toward the faith and knew absolutely nothing, even though my spirit testifies that I do. It simply didn't occur to me to pray, seek God, praise and worship, read the Bible, or fast—the absolute basics.

God revealed to me that this happened all because I dared to encourage a high-ranking man of God with a testimony about his ministry.

I saw in the spirit the exact entity attacking me: a male demon that looked like gray smoke with a distinct, definite form. Shockingly, it even had similar-looking babies with it.

Bondservant John Anosike teaches that when a believer suddenly finds themselves unable to do the basics—like praying, reading the Word, or worshiping—it is a state of spiritual suppression.

When the spirit is suppressed by external demonic attacks or internal compromise, we lose our spiritual sensitivity.

To reverse this, he emphasizes building a rigorous foundation of praying in the Holy Ghost. Praying in tongues directly edifies the spirit, breaking the suppression, sharpening our spiritual discernment, and giving us the power to detect unclean spirits from a distance before they can target us.

This experience has taught me another valuable lesson: when others stop blessing me, I shouldn't take it personally. Who knows what intense attacks they experienced that caused them to stop.

Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?

"But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil." (2 Thessalonians 3:3 KJV)
