praying for others.

Perfect Day, Saints!

God further led me to investigate whether prayers—even without the laying on of hands—have consequences.

I knew they did. In the past, even when I simply attempted to pray for myself, the spiritual backlash would intensify, and I would find myself attacked even more.

This led me to the profound teachings of Bondservant John Anosike, who strongly warns that interceding or fighting spiritual battles blindly can utterly destroy a believer’s life, family, and destiny. Spiritual warfare is bound by legal and territorial laws in the realm of the spirit, making prayer a highly consequential, two-way transaction.

According to Bondservant John Anosike, entering into deep warfare prayers without proper spiritual protocol carries severe risks:

  • The Spiritual Entry Point: The human head and spirit serve as doorways. When we step into the gap to pray for others, we are interacting directly with spiritual portals.

  • The Danger of Demonic Counter-Attacks: Anosike cautions against praying heavy warfare prayers for others without the proper spiritual ranking or alignment under divine authority. If we attempt to confront a demonic force that is stronger than our current spiritual capacity, the enemy will exploit that lack of spiritual weight and launch a devastating counter-attack against us.

  • The Destruction of Virtues: Stepping into unauthorized spiritual warfare is a risky business. If we are not heavily armed and spiritually preserved, a demonic force can literally drain our spiritual virtues, stripping away what we have and transferring the other person's curses, poverty, or sickness directly onto us and our family.

To keep oneself from being spiritually drained or destroyed while attempting to pray for others, it is vital to follow strict spiritual protocols:

  • Never Move out of Human Sympathy: Do not engage in deep warfare or intercession just because we feel sorry for someone. We must wait for the explicit discernment and prompting of the Holy Spirit.

  • Enforce the Blood of Jesus: Before and after praying, intentionally plead the blood of Jesus over our mind, body, life, and family as an absolute protective shield.

  • Maintain Strict Personal Consecration: Keep our own life pure and delivered. Any open doors of unconfessed sin, compromise, or unforgiveness will grant the enemy a legal right to retaliate against us when we try to pray for others.

My husband and I know from God never to pray for others beyond what He has given us.

Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12 KJV)
