long-awaited prayers.

Hi, brothers and sisters!
Today, I asked God why I am sometimes obedient and sometimes disobedient. To be honest, I was sick of being that way.
Inspired by Bondservant John Anosike’s example—who once asked God to make him the person who loves Him the most who has ever lived—I asked God to make me the most obedient human who has ever lived.
God was so pleased with that prayer. He told me He had been waiting for me to pray it.
That answer immediately connected the dots for me. Lately, He had been talking to me about long-awaited prayers—the idea that He waits a very long time for people to pray specific things. I just hadn't realized that this concept applied to me, too!
Stay on course in Jesus' name, amen?
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. (1 Timothy 1:16 KJV)
