leaving religion.

Perfect Day, Saints!
In 2023, I received a calling from God to leave religion behind and follow Him directly.
When I asked for clarity on what He meant by "religion," He defined it as:
Attending church under the false assumption that it guarantees salvation.
Letting man teach me instead of God.
Denying the true scope of God's power, quoting 2 Timothy 3:5: "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
Coming from a church background where praying in tongues was considered the pinnacle of God's power, I asked if the church I attended fell under that third category.
God confirmed that it did, saying there's much more that Adam can do. When I asked just how much more, He revealed that Adam and his descendants are called to be gods.
These are truths I hadn't heard from churches. It was to my profound surprise, then, when I discovered Bondservant John Anosike on YouTube on 12 July 2026, that his first message was from Obadiah 1:21: "And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.”
Furthermore, when he said that he left religion years ago, it made me recall this conversation I had with God in 2023.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. (Psalm 82:6 KJV)
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? (John 10:34 KJV)
