Hi, brothers and sisters!

My husband brought to my attention one day that the Bible calls us to pursue holiness.

I might have gotten what was taught at the pulpit wrong, as it was my understanding that holiness was an unconscious product of God transforming us. I was a passive versus active.

And I remember waiting on God to make me holy, and getting concerned as to whether He would produce enough holiness in my life in time for Judgement Day.

Now I understand that God change us very much in tandem with our wills.

Stay on course in Jesus' name, amen?

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1 KJV)
