discerning God's voice.

Perfect Day, Saints!
Lately, God has been teaching me to differentiate between my voice and His voice.
It was easy to tell them apart when I didn't have the same desires as God.
And it gets dicier when I ask Him to direct every single step of my way.
This is what I have found and am convicted of:
God doesn’t excuse an action that goes against the Bible.
Just because the voice uses my name, it doesn't mean it is God talking to me.
I sense the authority in the voice.
I don't have a negative impression of the speaker. For example, the voice is not impatient or brusque.
Directives without rhyme or reason are suspect.
It is a male voice. It's not a deep female voice.
I get the same answer even if I ask God repeatedly.
For example, I heard an internal voice that said, "Just do it, Hannah," in an exasperated tone.
However, I was convicted by the Holy Spirit not to do it. I absolutely couldn't bring myself to do it, and I have heard exhortations from other Christians not to do it either.
Stay on course in Jesus Christ, amen?
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. (Psalm 32:8-9 KJV)
